Our Story

Established in 2022, the Children’s Sports Academy offers progressive, professional coaching to Primary School aged children in the heart of the Scottish Capital.

Born out of frustration with the lack of aspirational sports coaching for younger children and seeking an alternative to the ‘juggle’ of coordinating children’s sporting commitments around family life, our founder Sally-May Kirby sought an alternative.

The solution? A Sports Academy that acts as a “one stop shop” in the coaching of Primary School aged children, offering its young athletes coaching in sports that provide an ideal foundation to discover and develop their full sporting potential. This is not simply a multi-sports club. Our young athletes will receive progressive, aspirational coaching that follows specific pathways designed for both enjoyment and achievement.
